After 2065 BS, the east entrance will be reopened for the first time. After the issue of transferring the head priest of Pashupatinath Temple in 2065, the east entrance was blocked.
Gauri Shankar Parajuli, Chief of the PADT's Culture Conservation Division, told RSS that arrangements have been made for devotees coming from Koteshwor-Tinkune-Sinamangal to enter Pashupatinath Temple from the east entrance via Ram temple-Aryaghat after entering from the Tilganga tourist ticket counter area.
Four lineups have been set up for pilgrims visiting Pashupathinath on the festival of Teej. Devotees can access the Pashupatinath Temple area from the Mitrapark area in the second queue, while devotees can enter the Pashupatinath area from the Gaushala-Pingalasthan-Panchadewal area in the third wait.
The fourth line would also let users reach the Pashupatinath temple at the southern entrance of Guheshwori-Umakunda-Kailash.
In order to deploy female security staff and volunteers within the main shrine, the PADT has taken the necessary precautions.
