After the devastating unfortunate gas cylinder blast event, the Bhoteskoshi Rural Municipality has pledged Rs. 900,000 for the care of the blast victims.
A cooking gas cyclinder explosion at a tea store a few days earlier gravely injured nine persons, including seven from the rural municipality. The home where the tea store was run therefore caught fire.
In the presence of former minister and Nepali Congress leader Mohan Bahadur Basnet, the rural municipality visited Sushma Koirala Memorial Hospital in Sankhu, where the injured are receiving treatment, and donated Rs 900,000 (Rs 100,000 each) for their care, according to the report submitted by the NC general convention representative, Yudhir Paudel.
The contribution sums were gathered by a team under the direction of the rural municipality chair Pasang Norbu Sherpa and the ward-5 chair Dawatyambu Lama.
