In a message of well wishes sent today on the occasion of the Teej festival, the President stated that the celebration will help to provide equitable access for women in all areas of society.
President Bhandari has also noted that the Teej festival has offered a chance to preserve social unity, women empowerment, and social goodwill, adding that this festival should be regarded as a social platform to convey the message of women's awakening.
"The Teej will inspire all of us with new energy and vigour for the creation of an egalitarian society, abolishing all forms of discrimination, violence, and destructive practices against women," the President said in his address.
Similarly, on the occasion of the Teej festival, the President has extended pleasure, peace, and good fortune to all Nepali women at home and abroad, noting that the Teej festival has remained a unique emblem of custom, tradition, and religious tolerance practiced for a long time.
Similarly, the President has asked everyone to continue working to remove social evils and destructive activities, and so maintain the religious and cultural features of our celebrations.
